Debian Package a Day (debaday) wrote,

tzwatch - Displays time and date in specified time zones on console

This shell script displays the time and date of time zones specified by the user. The time zones may be entered by hand in TZ format or chosen from a list prepared from /usr/share/zoneinfo/zone.tab. The zone list is kept in a format consistent with the GTK+ application gworldclock.

Today's package was brought to you by Victor M.:
It's a nice little package that allows you to display time and date in different time zones. Last year I moved from Chile to Japan for two years, and about the same time several friends traveled to other countries (Colombia, Australia, Germany...). We needed to stay communicated (sometimes we had online meetings with amsn ---another nice package), so it was very convenient to be conscious of what time is it in each zone.

More information on this package can be found on the Debian web site.
